New Mexico State University Global Campus is partnering with Three Crosses Regional Hospital to offer hospital employees preferred access to educational opportunities that support professional growth and lifelong learning.

Three Crosses Regional Hospital is a locally led acute-care hospital committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in southern New Mexico, and is the newest member of the NMSU Global Campus Partnership Program.

This collaboration aligns with both organizations' dedication to workforce development and community well-being. Through this partnership, hospital employees will receive preferred tuition rates on fully online degree and microlearning programs at NMSU Global Campus, making it easier to pursue credentials that elevate skills and expand career pathways.

"We are excited to welcome Three Crosses Regional Hospital to our growing network of employer partners," said Andrew Sedillo, executive director of strategic initiatives and partnerships at NMSU Global Campus. "This partnership is about more than access to education, it's about investing in people, building capacity within the region, and helping employees reach their full potential."

As part of the agreement, Three Crosses Regional Hospital will incorporate NMSU Global Campus programs into its training, development and recruitment strategies. NMSU Global will provide tailored support to hospital staff, including dedicated advising, information sessions, and assistance identifying the most relevant degrees or certifications for healthcare roles.

Both institutions will work collaboratively to align educational offerings with the hospital's staffing and workforce development needs, with a focus on nursing, administration, technology and healthcare leadership.

"We believe in empowering our team to grow both personally and professionally," said April Heidenreich, chief nursing officer with Three Crosses Regional Hospital. "This partnership with NMSU Global Campus gives our employees a direct pathway to further their education, expand their expertise, and bring even greater value to the patients and families we serve."

This partnership represents a shared commitment to education, excellence in care and strengthening the future of healthcare in New Mexico.
