Ashley Renee Torres, 38, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Gila Regional Medical Center. She was born September 13, 1986 to her parents, Arnold Costales and Tamara (Beem) Torres in Silver City, NM.
Ashley had a heart that knew no bounds. She found joy in the simple things and even greater joy in doing for others. Whether it was preparing a home-cooked meal with love, offering a helping hand without hesitation, or just lending an ear when someone needed to talk, she gave freely and selflessly. Her kindness touched everyone who had the blessing of knowing her.
She had a passion for cooking, always experimenting in the kitchen to create dishes that brought people together. Her coloring books were a canvas for peace and creativity, where she found quiet joy and relaxation. But most of all, Ashley loved spending time with her family and friends. Her laugh, her stories, and her warm presence created memories we will hold in our hearts forever.
She is survived by her loving father, Arnold; her sister Monika Torres of Redlands, CA; her brothers, Vincent "Vinnie" Contreras (companion Hailey Rickleff) of Chandler, AZ and Dustin Contreras of Tucson, AZ; her maternal grandmother, Lawana Beem; her boyfriend, Gilbert Hernandez of Silver City, NM; countless family and friends who's life were brightened by her spirit. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Tamara; her paternal grandparents, David and Elpidia Torres; maternal grandfather, Donald Beem; her uncles, Robert, Edward and David Torres; her Great-grandmother, Frances.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 10:00am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with Dr. Gilbert Arizaga officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Memory Lane Cemetery at 11:30am.
