One of the undeniable truths of life is that people are very trusting. When someone is telling us something our first reaction is to believe them because we don't think they would lie to us. That's why politicians keep getting re-elected even though they rarely keep the promises they made to us during their campaigns. Over the years, the lies have become more blatant because the politicians have not been held accountable and know they can say whatever they want and enough people will believe it.
Joe Biden proved that again this week when he was talking about the 9000 oil leases that are currently inactive. He wants to punish oil companies for not drilling on those leases. Here's The truth about those leases. According to his own Department of the Interior, half of those leases have not yet been permitted by the federal government. 2000 of the leases that have been permitted are currently the subject of litigation brought by environmental groups and cannot be developed. So that leaves about 2500 that could be developed but that takes time. Some of them may not even have oil or gas. I would bet Joe Biden didn't even discuss that with his cabinet secretary because he doesn't care, knowing he can say whatever he wants in the media will not only support him but 40% of Americans will believe him.
According to a study funded by Guinness, approximately 160,000 pints of beer are lost every year due to facial hair. That's one of those studies I wouldn't want to be conducting. Think about it, you have to get very intimate with a man's mustache in order to determine how much beer has stuck to the facial hair rather than been ingested. Maybe I shouldn't have said "man's" because that assumes women cannot have facial hair. I lived in the middle of the Ozarks in high school and I can attest to the fact that they can. But that's just another reason not to have a mustache or beard because you're missing out on so much beer.
Cheating in college athletics, especially in attracting the top athletes to attend your school, has been around since college athletics started. This week the federal government introduced legislation that would require the NCAA to change their rules on the statute of limitations regarding when they can investigate alleged violations. Many college presidents and athletic directors have called for this legislation. The federal government has no business meddling in a voluntary membership organization like the NCAA. but the fact that some members would call for federal intervention proves that so many people see the federal government as the problem solvers. We need to start teaching history and civics in our schools.
The newest crisis to loom on horizon is what Joe Biden called famine. I have no doubt that food shortages may be coming because of the high cost of fertilizer or the lack of fertilizer and the federal government paying farmers not to produce crops. I just want to put this out there, I have two 50 pound bags of Pinto beans that I would be glad to trade for a new three quarter ton pickup. Don't try to lowball me I know what I have.

Whenever the elite do something for which they feel the need to apologize, they begin to invoke God. Those in attendance cheered Will for doing so. But in their daily lives they are the most hateful of anything associated with Christianity or Judaism and 99% of them do not live their lives in accordance with religious principles.
Have you seen the TurboTax commercial in which a man is drinking a cup of coffee and then spews the coffee out of his mouth? There is actually a disclaimer in the commercial that says the spewing was not real and was computer generated. Please do not try this at home. That is what our society has come to? That spewing liquid out of your mouth is considered dangerous? Given the snowflakes that we have raised in the last two generations it's hard to disagree with that.
