October 18, 2023, was a significant day in our history. Yet that day passed with hardly a mention of its importance to not only the American people, but the entire world. It's probably not surprising given that the significance of that day benefits America's enemies. Given the lack of truthful reporting about how America's actions have led to the situation in the Middle East, it's not surprising the propaganda arm of the federal government would ignore the events of October 18th.

There is no doubt that Joe Biden’s attempts to appease Iran by refusing to enforce nominations and unfreezing assets gave Iran the ability to train and arm Hamas, Hezbollah, and other terrorist groups in the region. Having access to over $100 billion took the focus of the grand poohbahs running Iran off of survival and allowed them to re-engage in terrorist activities.

October 18th is the date that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action expired. That ‘agreement’ created restrictions on Iran's purchase and sale of weapons, particularly drones and missiles. Iran can now sell them to any country that wants them and can acquire parts and weapons for its missile and drone industries that until now it could not. Thus, Iran can strengthen its might and the might of the resistance axis that it has built in the Middle East, and can threaten its neighbors and even Europe and the U.S.

More concerning is that under the JCPOA, Iran was limited to enriching a small quantity of uranium to 3.75%. The Biden administration has agreed to allow Iran to enrich an unlimited quantity of uranium to 60% with no expiration date on that agreement nor are there any triggers that could create a snap back to the limitations of the JCPOA. Even while that agreement was in place, scientists from the IAEA warned that Iran was violating the agreement. Iran was allowed to self-report their compliance and reliable intelligence said that not only were they violating the agreement, but they were close to having some type of nuclear weapon, likely a dirty bomb or potentially a nuclear missile. I think all of us can see the potential danger posed by this development.

The Iranian foreign minister was allowed to come to New York City to attend a meeting at the United Nations. A spokesperson for the Biden administration said they granted him a visa because the meeting was for all foreign ministers and the United States recognizes the importance of having all parties in attendance, claiming they did not have the right to refuse a visa. Interestingly, under previous administrations The United States has taken the position they had the right to refuse a visa.

But the foreign minister of Iran used the opportunity to threaten the United States. He intimated that the United States was responsible for the war in the Middle East and would not be spared from the consequences of their actions for participating in that war. It is a threat to be taken seriously, especially since Iranian drones have attacked U.S. military personnel in Iraq and Syria 93 times since Joe Biden took office. That does not include the two dozen attacks since October 7th of this year. The claim that no US personnel has been injured is false. Several U.S. military personnel have suffered traumatic brain injuries in those attacks.

Joe Biden has travelled down the road of appeasement to its logical and only culmination; disaster. History tells us that appeasement of terroristic groups or regimes never works. His desire to avoid a military conflict was doomed to failure. Even Jimmy Carter had to admit defeat when he tried to appease Russia’s aggression, which ended when Russia invaded Afghanistan. Had he left the economic sanctions in place and enforced them, the Islamic Republic of Iran would have imploded. It may not have happened soon but it was well on its way to becoming a reality.

And now we are left with an incompetent Commander In Chief. He likely isn't aware of what's really going on most of the time. Those that are pushing his buttons and controlling the puppet strings want this war to happen for various reasons. It's likely this will spread. The US will be involved. The biggest question is, what forces are already inside the United States waiting to attack us on our soil?
