“Let’s Rock Broadway” starring the Diamonds

diamondsThe Grant County Community Concert Association presents The Diamonds in concert in a brand new program – Let’s Rock Broadway! on Friday Feb. 25, 2022 at 7:00 PM in the WNMU Fine Arts Center Theater. The concert will feature hits from your favorite Broadway musicals, such as – Jersey Boys, Grease, Mamma Mia and Motown. The program will also include their signature hits, “Silhouettes,” “The Stroll” and “Little Darlin” 

The Diamonds rocketed to fame in 1957 with their first hit “Little Darlin”. Through the years The Diamonds have learned one important lesson—the durability of this classic rock and roll music is as much about the future as it is about the past. As a result, The Diamonds continue to expand their audience to this day, performing in a variety of venues and settings worldwide. “We’ve been pleased to find a growing audience among all age groups. They love songs they can understand, remember and actually sing the words to—today, tomorrow, or even 20 years from now.” Though the members have changed the harmonies and fast-paced, highly professional performance still brings the audience to their feet in an instantaneous ovation.

Tickets for the concert are $20 for adults who are not season ticket holders. Children up to age 17 who are accompanied by an adult ticket holder are admitted free of charge. Individual tickets can be purchased at the Pink Store on Bullard, online at www.gcconcerts.org as well as in the lobby at the time of the concert. For more information call (575) 538-5862.

Covid-safe protocols will be in place at the WNMU Fine Arts Center Theater. GCCCA will require everyone to wear a mask.  Social distancing between parties is also recommended.
