The Fort Bayard Historic Preservation Society is pleased to announce its summer film series, devoted to Native Peoples. Mr. Joe Saenz of the Chiricahua Apaches will introduce each showing, to be held on Thursday evenings at the Santa Clara Armory, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The Armory is located north of US Highway 180, across from the Village of Santa Clara, six miles east of Silver City. Doors open at 6. The movies are free to the public, and donations are welcome. The series will begin with the showing of “The Last of the Mohicans” on June 30. The complete schedule is as follows:
