As the Southwest Horseman's Association prepares for a new year filled with exciting events—including the much-anticipated June rodeo—we are thrilled to introduce the newest addition to the association: the Southwest Horseman's Horse Show Association (SHHSA).
This new association was born from the success of the 4-H show series graciously hosted by the Southwest Horseman's Arena and Association and the overwhelming interest from our local horse community. Led by a dedicated board of local members actively involved in the industry, SHHSA is driven by a strong commitment to growth and opportunity.
The five-show series kicks off next month and is open to all breeds. Each event is a two-day format, with Fridays dedicated to clinics and horse judging competitions, and Saturdays featuring the main show beginning at 9:00 a.m. Judges from across New Mexico will bring their expertise to the show pen.
Show dates include February 20–21, March 6–7, March 20–21, April 17–18, and June 19–20. All horse enthusiasts are invited to attend and participate.
