Kappa Delta Pi, a teachers' sorority, sold cups full of watermelon to raise funds to send a couple of students to a conference in Orlando, FL, in October. Ray Driver, whose wife is a member of the sorority and Trinidad Tolar of Western New Mexico University manned the booth.

Saturday, the crowds were building by noon, with most spots under trees taken, but places in the sun were still plentiful. Groups will continue performing until 10 p.m. Saturday evening, with events on Sunday beginning at 11:45 a.m. and continuing through 5:45 p.m.
