Each year, Expanding Your Horizons, offers classes in various careers in science, technology, engineering and math to young women in grades 5th through 8th from schools around the area, including Silver, Cobre, Lordsburg and Deming.
This year was the 24th annual EYH held in Silver City at Western New Mexico University.
Each girl signs up for three activities and learns from women in the careers.
