Late Tuesday afternoon of El Dia de los Muertos, a crowd gathered on the lawn of the Silver City Museum to listen to the music of the Canto Mi Tierra mariachi band and to enjoy a dance performance by the Ballet Folklorico, both visiting from Cuidad Juarez, Mexico. Following the performance a procession walked through downtown Silver City to visit numerous ofrendas. The evening concluded with activities at WNMU's Miller Library.
