Girls Scouts of the Desert Southwest were busy this weekend.
Girls from the annual sleepover with the dog/cat food they collected as part of their admission that will be donated to the High Desert Humane Society. Their sleepover had a Hawaiian theme; they were all given leis and watched the movie Moana.
Girls participated in the Mangus Bow Club Archery Shoot out at Fort Bayard on Saturday. Girls got to try their skills at shooting Styrofoam animal targets.
Girls from troop 54352 traveled by train from Lordsburg to Deming, then visited the train museum there. They also went to Starmax for some fun with their cookie proceeds.
We help every girl discover who she can be and what she can do, wherever she chooses to put her energies. For more information on Girl Scouts call Membership Manager Annette Toney 538-2481.
