Celebrate Silver City Pride with the Silver City MainStreet Project and the Silco Theater at Film Club this September

The Silver City MainStreet Project and the Silco Theater are excited to celebrate Silver City Pride with a pride themed Film Club lineup at the Silco. The schedule starts this Thursday and will continue through the month of September. The Silco Film Club is a membership based private film club which supports the Silco while showing independent, arthouse, and classic films at 7:00 pm every Thursday.

Film Club memberships are usually available with punch cards of either 3, 6, or 12 films. We are offering a special 4-film Film Club Pride Pass for the month of September. 40% of the money we raise from the sale of the Pride Passes will be donated to LGBTQ Grant County and Silver City PFLAG.

The Film Club Pride Pass is $36. Multiple people can share the same pass, or get one for yourself and attend all four films! Film Club Pride Passes are available to purchase on the Silco website. At the end of September, any unused punches on your Film Club Pride Pass card may be used at future Film Club showings.

Why is Film Club private? It is because of a combination of royalty fees and film company clean screen contracts. Film Club provides an opportunity for us to offer more films to our community while staying in compliance with the film companies we contract with. The funds raised through Film Club allow us to support programing, operations, and historic preservation of the historic Silco Theater!

We look forward to seeing you at the Silco!
