Bobby Lee House, 64, longtime area resident passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013 at his home in Deming.
Bobby was born May 3, 1949 to Mozelle East and Richard Lee House in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee. He served in the U. S. Air Force from 1967 until 1970 and moved to Deming in 1974. Shortly thereafter, he married Clara Sainz on October 25, 1975 in Deming. Bobby ventured into the restaurant business by working at the local Cactus Cafe and later at the Silver City Cactus Cafe. He and his wife Clara opened Kevin's Restaurant in Silver City naming it for their son, Kevin and later relocated to Deming. After several years of successful restaurant hospitality Bobby hit the road as a truck driver for Allen Richey Trucking.
He is survived by his wife, Clara, of the home; son, Kevin Lee House and wife Michelle Dominique of Deming; 2 sisters, Gloria Jean Barnett of Little Rock, AR and Kathy Manus of Jonesboro, AR; 3 grandchildren, James Scott, Sophia Scott and Clarite Lee House.
Cremation has been in entrusted to Baca's Mimbres Crematory, and no services are planned as was his desire.
