AmandaRodriguez West RSAmanda Irene Rodriguez-West was born April 28, 1978 in Silver City. On September 6, 2015, she was welcomed to Paradise by her beloved sister, Mary Elizabeth Young, her Nana Hyde, and Uncle Ron Hyde.

Amanda's friends and loved ones will remember the way she always inspired and encouraged them to be better versions of themselves because of her integrity and enduring belief in them. Amanda was one of the bravest, strongest, and most hard-working women. She loved to laugh, had a beautiful voice, and lived to provide for her family. She was also extremely generous, and even in times of adversity, she always gave of her time and resources to anyone in need.

Amanda's daughters and husband remember her fighting spirit. She always fought for what she believed was right.

Amanda will be remembered by everyone as someone who genuinely cared - so much so - that she chose caring as her profession, and was proud to have been accepted as a member of the nursing program at Western New Mexico University.

Amanda's memory comforts her husband, Jason West, her three beautiful daughters, Cynthia, Christina, and Charlize Rodriguez, her son Jason West Junior, and her mother Cynthia Hyde, all of Silver City, as well as her Papa, David Hyde of San Manuel, Arizona.

She will also be missed by her aunts, uncles, in-laws, and by many friends including two of her best friends, Rebecca Martinez and Rowena Runyan.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 15 from 1-2pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels. The Celebration of Life Service will begin at 2pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels. Concluding service interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tyler Perez, Johnathan Hood, Ronald Rodriguez, David Sims Jr., Derek Citares and Jason West. Honorary pallbearers will be Chuy Vega and Tom West.
