chacon1 copyEraclio “Rocky” Chacon, 41, a resident of Silver City, NM, entered eternal rest Saturday, May 13, 2023 at his residence. Eraclio P. “Rocky” Chacon Jr. He was born on January 3, 1982 to his parents, Eraclio “Rocky” S. and Consuelo (Palomarez) Chacon, in Silver City, NM.

Rocky “Blue” was a wonderful son, an amazing father and the best brother. He was the most loving and kind person and had the ability to brighten up any room. He was a social butterfly and definitely the center of attention, no matter where he was. He had a huge heart and touched so many lives from one end of the country to the other. He was an amazing cashier and had so many regular customers from Albertson’s and Snappy Mart who absolutely loved and adored him.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking out, watching movies or playing games. He spent every moment of his free time playing video games and hanging out with his “Goon Squad”. We were all so lucky to have had the opportunity to know and love him. Rocky was the type of person you can never forget. You’re our boy Blue! You will be greatly missed!

He is survived by his father, Rocky S. Chacon (companion Sheila Vega) of Silver City; his mother, Consuelo (Palomarez) Cook (husband Carl) of Silver City, NM; his son, Eraclio C. “Rocko” Chacon III (companion Layne Sias) of Las Cruces, NM; his daughter, Audrey D. Chacon of Arenas Valley, NM; his brother, Jason Vega of Silver City, NM; and his sisters, Venus Chacon (companion Amanda Marquez) of Silver City, NM and April M. Chacon of Silver City, NM.

A Visitation will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 9:00am-10:00am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels. The funeral service will commence at 10:00am with Pastor Molly Andazola officiating.
