Mary graduated from Deming High School, After High School she married the children's father Manuel Garcia, where they resided in Deming for several years until moving to Las Cruces, NM. Mary lived her life to the fullest, from being involved in her Children's schools as a lunch monitor to being a member of the PTA. She worked several jobs which included Cotton Gin, Laundry Mat, Bushes Bakery, Manager for a Mobile Home Park, Rawson storage and Foster Grandparents. After her Retirement she was able to stay home and enjoy her grandkids. She was a Jack of all trades when it came to her children, always making sure they never went without. From Cheering on the sidelines at Softball fields, Band events, Cub Scouts, Brownies, to also watching some of her kids join the Military. She always tried to be in four different places at once and always managed to get them from one place to another. Even forgetting some of us at grocery stores, Brownies or even Cub Scouts. She had her hands full but always made life work for herself and her Children. We will always cherish all those Memories that we made with her.

She is survived by her children Kenneth (Jessie) Garcia, Manuel Garcia Jr., Roberta (Robert) Sylvis, Priscilla (Bruce) Lenderman, Cristina (Sal) Lopez, Melissa (Ralph) Archetti and Peter Garcia; 33 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren with one on the way. As well as her last surviving sister Emma (Gonzalo) Soto and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents Pete and Sofia Giron; 2 daughters Sofia and Cynthia Garcia; 3 sisters, Rosie Dominquez, Consuelo & Margarita Torres.

The family of Mary G. Garcia welcomes all and any friends or family to join them in fellowship at La Fonda Restaurant (601 E. Pine St., Deming, NM) immediately after the services.
