As the wife of a sailor, she followed him back and forth from coast to coast for 4 years during the Korean War.  After his service ended, they moved to Silver City in October 1956 with 2 small children, Robert & Sharon.  Mark & Deborah came along a few years later.  Oscar & Verna remained in Silver City until his passing in 2020 when she then she moved to Kennewick, Washington to live with her daughter and her family.

She was a faithful, lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many capacities for children, youth and adult women.  She enjoyed spending time with her family - they were among her prized possessions.  She loved to read, do needlework, travel, loved old movies, listening to music and was passionate about genealogy.  Many memorable times were had with children, grandchildren & great grandchildren roasting hot dogs & s'mores at Little Walnut.

Her hardest job and the one she did best was supporting her husband and raising her children.  She will be missed!
